I remember when I first started living alone - there was a lot of silence then, sometimes too much.I would come home and catch the emptiness, as if the walls were listening too, as I cut vegetables for one, as I poured wine and lit a candle, just to remember that evening is still evening, even if no one is waiting...
And then for the first time I learned to hear myself really, to accept my loneliness as a warm blanket, and now, even when it's quiet, I'm not afraid, I'm calm.😊
