I’m so sorry you guys ;-; I was supposed to send out the august renewal video BEFORE September 1st and it was supposed to work out because I was moving on the 31st and was going to do it at my new place the night of the 31st once I got in and well… lol… I severely underestimated how much time the move was going to take… Long story short: it took 2 FULL days of loading the truck and driving to the new place and then unloading the truck 😵‍💫 didn’t finish getting everything into the new place until 4am this morning and today I’ve just been passed out literally all day recovering from pure hell 😩 I will get the 5 minute lewd shower renewal video sent out TONIGHT even if it kills me 😤 _____________________________________________ Actual long story if you wanna read all that lmfao (it gets fucked up the more you read it that I’m still in disbelief): So I’m actually moving in with a good friend of mine because rent lately has just been absolutely fucked up EVERYWHERE and one of my best friends were wanting to move around the same time as me so we were like let’s just move in together into a big place and have a great time somewhere we know a lot of other people to keep our social life going (we are both anime convention goers so we literally know people in like every state LOL) Well fast forward to a couple days BEFORE the move, I ended up pulling 2 all nighters and then getting 4 hours of sleep the morning of the move to finish preparing and that alone sucked THEN the morning of the move…. We all severely underestimated how difficult it was going to be to move me out of my apartment and how much stuff I had in my one bedroom place… I was living in the middle of the CITY in an apartment building and the only way they let you have a moving truck was in this small ass side alley that only allowed a 15foot truck and nothing bigger and mind you my roommates and both of us are tiny and have never even drove a big ass truck like that before so we had another friend with us to drive the truck for us 💀 The move out time and loading dock for my place was scheduled with the building from 1pm-3pm and they would lock an elevator for me to go up and down more easily to grab stuff (oh yeah I also lived on a floor that requires use of the elevator) So I got up at 7am to shower and then clean my apartment and organize all my boxes and furniture to make it easier to load onto a cart to take down to the truck and organizing alone took so much longer than I thought. My new roomie and friend who was driving the truck were going to start at their place to load a 26 foot truck (oh yeah, we also had to rent TWO separate trucks -the 15foot for my place and then the 26foot for both of us meaning we would have to load my stuff from the 15foot truck into the 26foot truck later- and only the one person was comfortable driving the huge ass truck a long distance which is why we were going to put it all in one truck) So fast forward to 1pm, they had gotten half of their stuff loaded into the 26foot truck and now were coming to my place. They call me at 1pm and are like “uhhhh we can’t get into the alley because there are a fuck ton of moving trucks in there already” and I’m like HUH and so I go down to tell the front desk my truck can’t get into the alley at our literal scheduled time because there are already trucks there and the front desk lady just looked at me annoyed and was like “there aren’t any other movers scheduled so that shouldn’t be happening” uhhhh ok and??? How am I supposed to move if there are trucks there??? And she then tried to call maintenance or whatever to go out back and check it out. I asked her if we could just move out through the front since we had the truck parked there for the time being and she told me absolutely not so I just went out to see my roomie and talk to them and then two of us went to the back to check out the alley and what was going on Now fast forward to 1:30pm, none of the trucks had moved and I once again go to the front desk like bruh wtf why haven’t those people moved yet?? And she gets mad at me saying she’s been calling the office for several minutes already and no one is answering so I ask to at least get the elevator locked so I can start loading carts up with things at least and she gets the elevator locked for me to use. THEN my roomie calls me and is like “yeah so ANOTHER moving truck just tried to turn into the alley and is waiting at the entrance of the alley and say they also need to get into the building” and at this point I’m just so pissed off because where are all these people coming from and why are they using our loading dock when they aren’t supposed to 😤 Fast forward to 2pm, a spot in the loading dock opens up and we get our truck in there but the other moving truck is also moving their shit in saying they originally had the 11am-1pm slot but were late 🙄 we start to get our shit to go use the elevator…. And these mfkers STOLE my elevator!!!!!!! So I once again go to the front desk and before I can even say anything she yells at me to go to the office and that she’s been trying to call them and they aren’t answering. A maintenance dude who was super nice overheard us like “woah woah what is going on” and he took me to the office and I was ranting about how I was supposed to start moving an hour ago but people stole my elevator and were in our spot and they told me they would get it sorted out for us and that we could take as long as we needed to to move out my stuff So anyways we get our elevator back and proceed to start loading stuff into the truck. But because of constantly having to go up and down the elevator to the truck and back up, the whole process took 5 HOURS and we didn’t get done with my place until 7pm 😵‍💫 After my place we take the truck back to my roomies place and park it in the parking lot on the corner because we already had the 26foot parked in front of the house. Bruh I took one look at that truck and was like “my stuff is not gonna fit in there with all of your shit 👁️👄👁️” but we just say that’s an issue for after we get all of their stuff loaded into the truck and then see what happens As we are loading the truck, time goes by and then my roomie all of a sudden goes “yeah so uhhh… I didn’t realize this but the uhaul place gave me the wrong size truck and what we are loading right now is actually the 20foot truck and not the 26foot truck 💀💀💀 that was when we started getting extremely EXTREMELY stressed out LOL Once it hit like 10pm we were like ok well we can’t leave tonight because it’s pitch black and unpacking the car and loading the rest of the stuff up in the dark would be way too hard so we said we would just get up at 9am to get a full night of rest then finish everything because we didn’t think it would take too long the next day…. Fast forward to 9am, we get up and start finishing up with my roomies stuff which also took longer than planned 💀 we didn’t start transferring my stuff from the 15foot to the 20foot (was supposed to be 26!!!!!) until 2pm so we take the 20foot to the parking lot and park right next to the 15foot and start loading all my stuff in. Luckily I had very few actual furniture because I got rid of most of it and it was mostly just boxes and duffel bags. But we had to play literal Tetris to fit all my stuff in and we were SHOCKED when we managed to fit everything 💀 we finished loading the truck around 5:30pm and start driving to our new place. We get there at 8pm and then spent 8pm-3am unloading everything into the new place and yeah it was just awful… it was so fkin awful 😭 BUT ALAS I AM FINALLY IN MY NEW PLACE AND UNPACKING IS GOING TO SUCK BUT IM IN MY NEW PLACE!!! THE HARD PART IS OVER 😩👌🔥 It’s a super big place and I’m going to have a dedicated room setup just for content which means there’s going to be so much new content coming soon 🥹💞
